Capanni

The origins of the company goes back to the ’30, when Franco Capanni, who lived on the hills above Florence, started with a small workshop situated on the downstairs of his house. The production was about the wood-turning of legs for furniture of different kind. These pieces were created by machineries that worked thanks to the current of the river situated next to the workshop.

In the middle ’60, the father was supported at work by his childrenAndrea and Moreno. The two boys gave a turning point to his father’s activity. They started to design and create objects and lights in original and sought-after style. For this, they use centuries-old wood coming from ceiling beams recovered from old buildings together with precious metals for the handicraft creation of different complements for furniture.

Today F.lli Capanni is a company present in the world landscape to spread her own romantic vision of the day way of living.
F.lli Capanni proposes classical and elegant objects of furniture to give heat and atmophere to the environments of the house.
